Documentation Request

Im trying to write a DXF file and I haven't used your library or AutoCad before. So I'm not familiar with the DXF format at all.

I was hoping in the documentation for some description of what we need to put in the DXF file. What its internal structure is like.
So I can answer questions like
Do I need to put in a header?
Do thing change between DXF versions?

I suppose I want a 'How to use this library' page. Similar to a code project article.

Hi Tim Yen,

The CadLib documentation does currently expect some global knowledge of AutoCad entities, but not terribly much. All entities are in the CadLib.Model.Entities namespace (CadLib 2.0), and most of them have a simple example with them. Further, do check out the example solutions in the examples directory! There are examples of how to create AutoCad files, and also to view them, so you can see what you're doing while experimenting.

So, the CadLib documentation will be gradually improved (I would like to include some example images with each entity description eventually), but this will take some time. For now this link might help you out in getting familiar with AutoCad:

When you're stuck just post a question, but I expect that the examples will help you already getting up to speed.
